More young Australians were choosing to buy near extended family after the pandemic, with one Queensland couple purchasing at Ripley in the same week as her brother and his wife. PIPA chairman Peter Koulizos said crises tended to draw neighbours together, noting that master planned estates attracted similar households and that local work hubs were giving people somewhere close to home to work and socialise.
