Perth values fell almost 8 per cent over the year to an average dwelling price of $437,080, capping a decade in which prices tripled to 2014 and then surrendered about 30 per cent. Analysts pointed to the first quarterly uptick in more than 18 months, sharply lower new listings and rental growth above 5 per cent, and expected slow stabilisation helped by METRONET and resources investment rather than rapid growth.
