Why Queensland investment will dominate for some time yet

Queensland was attracting a disproportionate share of interstate investors thanks to its comparative affordability, its handling of the pandemic and a large infrastructure pipeline. CoreLogic figures put Brisbane’s median house price at about $749,000 in March 2022 against $1.117 million in Sydney and $805,000 in Melbourne, while remote working broadened the appeal of the state’s coastal and hinterland areas.
