Why Perth’s investment market is hitting new heights in 2025

Perth house prices climbed 14.1 per cent over the year to a median of $917,706 and unit values rose 19.1 per cent, according to Domain data, with house rents up 6.2 per cent. Local agents attributed the strength to economic diversification, interstate and overseas migration and persistent stock shortages. PIPA board member Matthew Hughes was more cautious, favouring middle price brackets and specific corridors over blanket exposure.
