Pure Property Investment director Paul Glossop argued that property values had risen in the five years following each recession since the 1970s, and that the current cycle was only six to eight months old. He said investors were stepping up activity while first home buyers were being squeezed, pointing to earlier PIPA and PICA research in which 80 per cent of investors said the pandemic had not altered their plans.
