CoreLogic research showed investor listings holding up far better than the broader market in May, with investor-sourced stock reaching 57 per cent of new listings in inner Sydney against a decade average of 38 per cent. Head of research Eliza Owen pointed to mortgage costs rising faster than rents. Analysis by PIPA and PICA showed net investor numbers had fallen sharply over five years.
