A study by ME Bank ranked Woolloongabba in inner Brisbane and Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast as the country’s two strongest investment locations, weighing transport infrastructure, rents, yields, population growth and lifestyle appeal. The result echoed PIPA’s annual investor sentiment survey, in which 58 per cent of 786 respondents nominated Queensland, although ME still placed nine New South Wales suburbs in its top 20.
