Property to get an ‘economic airbag’

PIPA welcomed the extension of JobKeeper to March 2021 at reduced rates, with chairman Peter Koulizos saying the support would cushion the economic blow for the property industry. From late September, full-time recipients were to receive $1,200 a fortnight and those working under 20 hours a week $750, while the JobSeeker coronavirus supplement was to be trimmed by $300.
