The 2024 PIPA sentiment survey found at least 14 per cent of investors had sold a rental in the past year, with 65 per cent of those homes bought by owner occupiers. Brisbane recorded the heaviest selling at 26 per cent, followed by Melbourne on 21.7 per cent and Sydney on 14.9 per cent.
