Property investors remain upbeat but looking at different locations to buy – and to live

Property investors stayed optimistic through the pandemic while rethinking where to buy and live, the 2020 PIPA Annual Investor Sentiment Survey of nearly 1,100 respondents found. About 44 per cent planned to buy within six to 12 months and 71 per cent were less likely to sell. More than 17 per cent were considering relocating, citing lifestyle, working from home and affordability, with regional areas the main beneficiaries.
