Regional locations dominated investor relocation plans, with the 2020 PIPA Annual Investor Sentiment Survey naming regional New South Wales at 21 per cent, regional Queensland at 18 per cent, Brisbane at 16 per cent and regional Victoria at 14 per cent. Lifestyle, working from home and affordability were the leading motivations. Metropolitan markets still appealed to 61 per cent of investors, against 73 per cent a year earlier.
