Non-major bank lowers investor interest rates

ING trimmed several variable and fixed investor loan rates from early February 2021, cutting variable rates by 0.05 percentage points and setting one, two and three year fixed principal and interest rates at 2.34 per cent, Mortgage Business reported. Investor lending had risen 14.1 per cent over the December quarter, although its share of new loans sat at a record low. PIPA chairman Peter Koulizos expected investor activity to keep climbing.
