More investors are finding regional areas appealing

Regional markets were drawing more investor interest, the Canberra Times reported, citing PIPA’s 2020 sentiment survey conducted the previous August. Two-thirds of respondents considered it a good time to buy residential property and almost half planned a purchase within a year, while the share naming regional areas as most appealing rose to 22 per cent from 15 per cent. Investors were most positive about Brisbane.
