Polling of 1,724 investors by PIPA found almost one in eight had sold a rental home over the past year, and roughly three quarters of those homes went to owner occupiers. Chair Nicola McDougall pointed to tax threats, tenancy reform and rate rises as the causes, and about 38 per cent of respondents said they were likely to sell again within the following 12 months.
