Long-sighted investors sticking with property

PIPA’s yearly sentiment survey recorded 65 per cent of investors naming long term capital growth as their chief reason for picking a property, against just 1 per cent citing short term tax benefits. Most held more than three properties, expected negatively geared holdings to turn positive between 2024 and 2029, and 48.9 per cent were prepared to buy outside their home state.
