It’s A Wrap – PIPA’s most successful Conference yet.

Conference Highlights — PIPA 2025: Transformation. Innovation. Excellence.

The 2025 PIPA National Property Investment Conference was nothing short of inspiring — a day defined by bold ideas, meaningful connections, and a shared vision for the future of our sector. With a sold-out room of passionate professionals, the event brought together leaders, innovators, and disruptors who are redefining what it means to invest in property today.

Reframing the Real Question for Property & Investment: How Will Innovation Add Value?

International keynote speaker Mark Carter set a powerful tone for the day with an energising opening address that challenged delegates to reframe how they perceive innovation, value, and leadership in a fast-changing world. Drawing from his INTELLIGENCE and VALUE frameworks — including insights from his TEDx talk featured on TED.com — Mark took us on a cinematic journey through ten ages of human innovation, revealing the timeless principles that drive transformation.
His exploration of the TRI VALUE pillars — Tangible, Emotional, and Service — left attendees with a fresh perspective on how to anchor growth, trust, and culture in the digital age.

The Economic Environment for the Property Sector

With clarity and depth, Brendan Coates, Housing and Economic Security Program Director at the Grattan Institute, offered valuable insights into the current economic landscape shaping Australia’s property market. His analysis unpacked the policy, housing, and affordability challenges influencing investor sentiment and provided a grounded understanding of the opportunities and pressures ahead for the sector.

Investing in Yourself: Preventing Burnout in the Property Sector

An empowering keynote, Sally McGrath, Wellbeing Strategist at Burnout, delivered a deeply relevant session focused on resilience, wellbeing, and performance. In an industry that never stops — accelerated by technology and constant change — Sally’s message was clear: sustainable success begins with self-care. Her practical tools for preventing burnout resonated strongly with attendees, offering actionable strategies to protect wellbeing while enhancing productivity and professional fulfilment.

The energy, engagement, and exchange of ideas at PIPA 2025 reflected the strength and unity of our professional community. Together, we are not only adapting to change — we are leading it.
