Brokers dominated investor finance, with 71 per cent of respondents using one over the past year and 80 per cent intending to for their next purchase, the 2020 PIPA Annual Investor Sentiment Survey found. Fewer than one in ten planned to approach a bank directly. The same research showed 36 per cent would refinance for half a percentage point and that 13 per cent of investors were running monthly cash flow deficits.
