Investment pros react as NAB slashes 30 points off interest rate

NAB cut its advertised investor base variable rate by 30 basis points, to 2.79 per cent for principal and interest loans below 80 per cent of value and 2.99 per cent for interest-only borrowers. PIPA chairman Peter Koulizos welcomed the move, saying investors had been overshadowed by first home buyers using government incentives, while Prpty 360’s Julian Fadini said the pricing gap between the two groups was narrowing.
