Brisbane Olympics could see South East Queensland property prices rise

PIPA research covering Olympic host cities since Los Angeles in 1984 concluded that Brisbane’s 2032 games would support South East Queensland values, with gains concentrated near venues and new infrastructure. Chief executive Peter Koulizos said homes close to London’s Olympic facilities outperformed by two to five per cent, and predicted the Sunshine Coast stood to gain most if a direct rail link to Brisbane was built.
