Australia’s top performing areas over the past decade

CoreLogic research undertaken with PIPA showed Sydney led capital city growth over the decade at an average 5.5 per cent a year, ahead of Melbourne on 4.9 per cent, while Perth and Darwin went backwards. Chairman Peter Koulizos said the weaker results recorded in Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra were part of the reason those cities were being tipped for the next 10 years.
