LongView’s Evan Thornley told a property summit that many investors would do better putting money into superannuation than buying poorly chosen rental properties, later clarifying that well selected assets outperform. PIPA’s ninth investor sentiment survey found 12.1 per cent of investors had sold at least one property in the past year, with chair Nicola McDougall citing tax increases and tenancy changes as the main triggers.
