Amid record low lending, property investors look for bargain loans

Press coverage 21 October 2020 Summary of published coverage

Investor lending fell to 24 per cent of new loans in August against a decade average of 36 per cent, Bureau of Statistics figures showed, with closed borders stripping tenant demand out of Sydney and Melbourne. PIPA reported that about 36 per cent of investors would refinance for a saving of half a percentage point and that 71 per cent had used a broker. Fifty two lenders had cut investor rates over three months.
