Inspire Realty chief executive and PIPA member Colin Lee argued that residential property remained the soundest long-term wealth vehicle for younger Australians despite gloomy market commentary. He said fashionable assets such as cryptocurrency and shares did not offer the same borrowing leverage as real estate, where purchasers typically finance 80 to 90 per cent of the price, and urged young investors to look past alarmist headlines.
