PIPA welcomed the federal government’s $130 billion JobKeeper wage subsidy, saying the fortnightly payment of $1,500 would ease rental and mortgage stress for tenants and landlords alike. Chairman Peter Koulizos said the measure avoided a debate over which party deserved support, and noted that many investors had been anxious about covering loan repayments if rent stopped coming in.
