National dwelling values rose 0.7 per cent in July for a fifth straight monthly gain, with Perth, Adelaide and regional South Australia reaching new cyclical highs, CoreLogic reported. Growth in Sydney halved from its May pace as fresh listings climbed. PIPA chair Nicola McDougall said the sharp declines forecast at the start of 2023 had failed to eventuate, helped by low stock levels and record migration.
