Optimism still high among homebuyers despite rising prices

Press coverage 22 February 2022 Summary of published coverage

More than half of Australian homebuyers, or 52 per cent, remained confident of breaking into the market despite steep price growth, according to research by REBAA and Property Talk Australia. President Cate Bakos said the finding reflected the market’s resilience, noting about 40 per cent of buyers purchased during 2021 and that investors were more prominent this year, with a third of them targeting Queensland.
