Consumer Awareness
If you are a property investor, at present there exists no regulation to protect you. In a nutshell, this means that any one may call themselves a property investment adviser without any form of qualification or without subscribing to a code of practice.
We are working very hard with the Federal Government to change this. In the meantime, you can protect yourself by only dealing with qualified advisers and companies who are PIPA members. All PIPA members subscribe to a code of practice and fall under our strict guidelines for best practice.
